have you vacuumed your ceiling lately?
I wish I was joking, but I’m not. Everyone vacuums their carpet/floor but not many people I know vacuum their ceilings!
My house doesn’t have those smooth flat ceilings… mine has those textured, prickly, old-school ceilings, which are perfect for hiding spiderwebs!
This all started when one summer there just seemed like there was an abundance of spiders in our house (more than 1 is too much in my opinion), so I went on this huge vacuuming spree and vacuumed everything. Then I got those webs in the corners when I realized that it branched out onto the actual ceiling! Also don’t forget corner edges (what do you call those…). Anyway, after that, I haven’t seen that many! *knocks on wood*
You don’t have to vacuum the WHOLE ceiling, I just use the pole attachment and start where I see webs.
This might make me weird, but I’m okay with that. YOU’RE the ones living with spiders.
