SFGiants Fanfest 2012
My best attempt at a Brian Wilson impersonation on the pitcher’s mound.
So today was my first very first Fanfest! :) I was super excited last night, so I couldn’t sleep! My thoughts as I laid in the dark was : ‘omg, I hope I get to see Buster Posey!! I want him to sign my jersey…’, ‘what do I say to them when I meet them?! O_O’, ‘oh god what if I have nothing cool to say to them?!’, ‘great i’m totally going to fuck this up..’, etc, etc. This led to me getting about 1 hour of sleep, and over sleeping!
Lucky for me, my cousin had a friend who was up in the line, so we didn’t have to wait in the very end, and he also managed to ninja his way through the gates when they first opened! Waiting for our first autographs only took about 30 min! 
These were the ones I managed to get, Aubrey Huff, Eric Surkamp & Matt Cain!
After that, the lines for the other players to get autographed were RIDICULOUS, it would be at LEAST 2 hours if not more. Lines were about the length of the field itself! So we decided not to wait inline anymore for autographs… but that didn’t stop us from having a great time.
We got to go to the club level, where the baller people pay $$$ to watch the games at, and we also went to the Giants’ clubhouse and saw where the players hang out. Preeety cool if you ask me. Walked up the stairs that the players walk into dugout & onto the field. Too bad there was a long ass line to take pictures at the dug out. There was a line for everything.
Saw some players in passing, although I didn’t get an autograph :( Aubrey Huff said hi to me as he was walking by (YAY!), and I saw a glimpse of Buster Posey (♥♥♥) although I didn’t get a picture cos he walked too quickly! Also saw Bruce Bochy (got a high five!), Sergio Romo, Angel Pagan, Jeremy Affeldt, and Madison Bumgarner.
Developed a serious crush on Eric Surkamp, I did not realize how hot he was until he was sitting 1 foot away from me… I tweeted him thanks for signing my shirt and that I was excited to see the boys in April and HE RESPONDED. 
HEHEHEE.
All in all, it was crazy packed, and i wished the lines were shorter so I could meet everyone, but still a lot of fun! Will definitely do it again! My goal this season is to find Buster!! heehee :)
